From the Guardians to the Rock N’ Roll Hall of Fame to Playhouse Square, this four-panel design showcases Cleveland’s best-known buildings, streets and icons.
The Process
Once the design direction and style was chosen, we refined the design with the icons that best represent Cleveland. The bold, three-color approach ensures that the final piece is clear and eye-catching when viewed from below. Through a lot of detailed measurements, the final direction was transferred to the canvases in pencil and then painted one color at a time using artist-quality acrylic paint. Painting the background wall black makes the white panels stand out further.
