Sunmud Pottery is a ceramic studio made up of a mother and daughter duo who make coastal-inspired, small batch ceramics.

The Sunmud Pottery logo and branding is inspired by the studio’s ceramicists as well as the refined, natural pieces they make. It was important for the logo to be simple enough to be stamped into clay while also evoking the duo’s sunny and light-hearted disposition.

 
 

A warm color palette, simple icons and speckled pattern are used across branded materials to create a clean, yet playful look and feel that mimics the stoneware created in the studio. Hand-drawn illustrations bring in an approachable, human element. The printed collateral is used as giveaways at shows and in packaging items to ship.
